Are they looking for the same kind of connection?
Ashley Madison’s February 2026 company announcement broadened its positioning from married dating to discreet dating, including single and non-monogamous people. Victoria Milan’s homepage continues to emphasize married and attached dating. Those are brand descriptions, not a reliable description of every person you will meet.
Look for compatible relationship expectations, not just a familiar label. Be clear about your relationship status, agreements, availability and boundaries. A service focused on discretion does not establish another person’s honesty or consent.

Check the age range, distance and relationship intentions available in profiles. A large global membership total cannot tell you who is nearby.

Read the details rather than counting photos or winks. If recent activity is not visible, treat it as unknown.

Paid access does not always mean the other person can reply
Ashley Madison: inspect the action
Before using credits, read the charge for the specific action shown to your account. Separate opening or initiating a conversation from any priority, gift or other optional feature. Do not assume that every message has the same cost, or that a free account has unlimited communication.
Victoria Milan: inspect the tier
Its help pages describe messaging with Premium. Premium Plus adds a specific benefit: free members can chat with you. If recipient access is your concern, compare that benefit in the exact offer before buying the cheaper tier.

Which is cheaper? Compare cash committed over the same period
There is no verified current US price pair that makes one service cheaper for everyone. Ashley Madison’s US App Store listing shows multiple purchase products, but it does not establish your current website bundle or every action’s credit charge. Victoria Milan’s public help lists membership options without a universal US dollar quote.
For Ashley Madison, record the package price, included credits and the cost of each action you plan to use. Add any optional product charges over your intended period. For Victoria Milan, open the membership offer and record the full term total, the amount due now, any remaining installments, the tier and the renewal quote. A monthly equivalent is a way to compare value; it does not necessarily mean you can buy or cancel one month at a time.
Why the smallest first payment can mislead
Imagine 100 credits cost $50 and your planned actions need 150 credits. Starting from zero, you need two identical bundles: $100 paid, with 50 credits left after those actions. The consumed credits’ proportional value is $75, but that is not the cash needed to buy them.
These figures are fictional. If a three-month subscription quote were $120, compare it with the credit use you expect over those same three months, including extras. Neither calculation predicts replies or dates.

The developer’s iOS listing advertises Discreet Match, photo masking and Stealth Mode for notification appearance. Check availability on your device. These feature descriptions are not an independent security audit.
Victoria Milan
The help center documents photo blur and masks. Its private-key system lets you accept or reject a photo-access request. Approval gives that person access to all your private photos, so review the whole collection first.
- Photo visibility: check the public version and any private collection. A recognizable background can reveal information even when a face is hidden.
- Account access: use a unique password and review the security options offered. Check which email account receives receipts and account notices.
- Notifications and payments: understand preview settings and the actual billing description. Do not assume a discreet label makes a charge or account invisible.
- Other people: share only what you can tolerate being copied. Treat requests for money, login codes or paid external verification as reasons to stop and investigate.
How to stop the next charge
Start with the receipt: identify the product, seller, purchase channel and next charge. A credit balance, a recurring add-on and a membership renewal are different things to review.
Ashley Madison: review every paid product
Inspect the account’s payment area for refill settings and any recurring products you accepted. Disable future purchases you do not want and retain the confirmation. If the controls or wording are unclear, use support from the authenticated account and ask which future charges remain enabled. Deleting the profile is not evidence that each billing instruction has ended.
We could not access Ashley Madison’s public website help during this update, so we do not invent a current menu path or cancellation deadline. Follow your receipt and current terms.
Victoria Milan website: check the notice deadline
The US terms require at least 14 days’ notice before the paid term ends unless your purchase states a different period. Late notice may allow another term to be charged. This is not a 14-day free trial or a universal refund entitlement.
- Open Settings, then My Membership.
The official renewal guide says to choose Edit, click the expiry date, click the date again in the new window, then select Cancel recurring.
- Save the result.
Keep the confirmation and expiry date. If the interface differs, use the online cancellation route in your account or the written alternative in the US terms.
The written alternative is an email from your registered address to [email protected], attaching an explicit, signed cancellation declaration with your full name, registration country and registered email, legibly in block capitals. Check the current terms before sending.
Apple or Google subscription: use that store
For an Apple-billed subscription, open Settings, your name, then Subscriptions; select the product and cancel. For Google Play, open Subscriptions in the purchasing Google account, select the product and follow the cancellation steps. Use the Apple instructions or Google instructions. A standalone credit purchase may not appear as a subscription.
If you already paid and something is wrong
I deleted the app but was charged again
Find the receipt and check whether the charge is a renewal, credit refill or separate product. Uninstalling an app does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Use the matching website or store route above, and keep the original cancellation evidence if you have it.
I cannot find the subscription or cancel button
Check the email address and store account used at purchase. A website payment will not necessarily appear in Apple or Google subscriptions. Contact the seller shown on the receipt with the date, amount and order reference. Ask for written confirmation of the next charge status; do not send your full card number or password.
I want a refund, not just to stop renewal
Make that request explicit and explain the charge and reason. Stopping future billing and reversing a completed purchase are separate requests. Victoria Milan’s US terms make refunds conditional; ordinary cancellation does not automatically refund the term. Use the seller or store that billed you and keep the response.
