How much does eharmony cost in the US?
There is no verified universal dollar price in this guide. eharmony directs members to the Subscription page after login for their actual offer. Its public cost page lists 3, 6 and 12 months, while the membership FAQ lists 6, 12 and 24 months. These inconsistent public descriptions make the plan shown in your own checkout essential. Basic versus Premium: check the actual package

The current terms say Basic photos are generally blurred and personalized messaging is limited. Premium messaging covers the matches permitted by the selected plan: some plans use monthly Match Unlocks, while Premium UNLIMITED allows communication with all matches. Monthly equivalent versus the amount you owe
Illustrative calculation only, not an eharmony offer: a hypothetical six-month package costing $180 has a $30 monthly equivalent. If that $180 is collected in three $60 payments, the first charge is $60, but the commitment is still $180. A twelve-month package costing $240 would have a lower $20 monthly equivalent and a higher total cost.
Use this comparison before selecting a term:
- Write down the total price for the first period, including any displayed tax or fees.
- Divide that total by the number of months to compare equivalent rates.
- Record every scheduled payment separately from the equivalent rate.
- Record the next renewal amount and period.
- Decide whether you would still choose the plan without its discount or countdown.
A low equivalent rate can be poor value if you only want a short experiment. A shorter available commitment can be more useful even when its equivalent rate is higher. Budget for the contract you select, rather than an assumed date when you will meet someone.
Renewal, cancellation and deleting your account
eharmony's terms require renewal cancellation at least 24 hours before the current term ends. Stopping renewal does not remove remaining installment obligations. The standard cancellation path is Data & Settings, Manage profile, Amend Subscription. Apple or Google purchases must be managed through the original store. Keep cancellation confirmation before deleting a profile. Treat stopping future billing, requesting any applicable refund and removing account data as separate tasks. When is Premium worth considering?
Consider paying when you have completed your profile, the suggested people fit your location and intentions, and an identified paid feature would remove a real obstacle. For example, compare the package's contact allowance with the number of promising profiles you want to message.
Wait if you have not reviewed your local suggestions, cannot explain the renewal terms, or need a commitment shorter than the available offers. Paying is not proof that another member is genuine and does not guarantee a reply, a date or a relationship.

Is the monthly equivalent a cancel-anytime monthly plan?
No such assumption is safe. It is a comparison figure. The selected term and payment schedule determine your commitment.
Does a free account become paid automatically?
Ordinary Basic membership has no fixed expiry. Treat any separately accepted promotional Premium trial according to its own conversion and billing terms.
Should I choose the longest discounted offer?
