The 90-day membership is paid upfront. Seeking's billing FAQ also uses fixed 30- or 90-day periods, not calendar months, with expiration times shown in UTC. Record the exact date and time in your account.
The amount on the last payment screen is the one to inspect. The terms, section 11, allow applicable sales tax in addition to subscription charges. Optional products and your particular offer can also affect the comparison, so do not treat the table as a receipt.
Compare the time you expect to use
30 days or 90 days: which costs less overall?
For a 90-day comparison, three short Platinum terms total $450; the longer term totals $380. That is a $70 difference, about 15.6%. For just 60 days, two short terms total $300, so the longer purchase costs $80 more.

For 90 days, the 90-day Platinum plan has the lower modeled Platinum total: $380.00.
The comparison repeats the same plan at its published rate for enough complete periods to cover the selected time. It excludes tax, extras, discounts and legacy pricing, and assumes later periods are available at the same rate. It does not predict your renewal charge. Diamond has different benefits, so the lowest-price label compares the two Platinum options only.
What do Standard, Gold, Platinum and Diamond include?
Standard: explore first
Seeking describes free profile creation and browsing. Its July 2025 membership guide also lists basic search, profile viewing and favorites for Standard. This preview is a useful way to judge the interface and the local selection.
Do not assume that being able to browse means your account can send unlimited messages. Check the access available to you before planning conversations around it.
Gold: check your eligibility and quote
The pricing announcement renamed Premium to Gold or Platinum according to membership level and eligibility. It did not publish a Gold amount.
Read the package offered to your own account. Do not borrow another member's price or assume that two similarly named plans have identical entitlements.

Diamond adds $225 over the short Platinum term at the listed rates, making it 2.5 times the price for the same duration. Identify a specific benefit you intend to use before choosing it. Paying more cannot establish another person's honesty, financial circumstances or compatibility with you.
Already subscribed? Check before losing an older rate
The announcement preserves qualifying pre-January 2026 pricing while membership stays active; a later lapse brings the new rates into effect.
Before changing tiers, turning off renewal or letting a card expire, save the current price and ask what that particular action would mean for your plan. Do not assume the public announcement answers every upgrade or payment-failure scenario.
Five checks before accepting the payment
- Tier and complete term: confirm what you are buying, including whether a later upgrade changes the current term.
- Amount due today: include every tax or selected extra shown on the final screen.
- Renewal status: save the next charge, date and duration, or confirmation that recurring billing is off.
- Purchase channel: identify whether Seeking or Google Play will manage this transaction.
- Documents: keep the offer, accepted terms and receipt where you can find them if access or billing goes wrong.
Seeking's FAQ says upgrades added within a 90-day term can be prorated for the remaining period. Read the actual upgrade charge and next renewal separately. A small amount to upgrade near the end of a term does not tell you the price of the next full term.
If any figure is unclear, ask before paying: “What is due today, when does this access end, and what will the next renewal charge be?” Keep the answer with the order confirmation.
How to cancel recurring Seeking billing
When Seeking manages the subscription
- Open Settings from your profile menu.
- Choose Memberships and billing.
- Select Cancel subscription and finish the process.
Save the result and check that recurring billing is off. If the process stops or an error appears, resolve it before assuming cancellation succeeded.
The billing FAQ describes this route for both website and app, with paid access continuing until the next billing period. Check the exact end date in your account.
When your receipt identifies Google Play
Sign into the Google Account used for payment. Open Google Play subscriptions, select the subscription and complete the cancellation prompts. Check the resulting status. If it is absent, check the account on the receipt. Google's subscription instructions.
Cancel before the next charge and leave time to deal with a login or support problem. Saving an automatic acknowledgment is useful, but also look for the completed cancellation status. Deactivation does not pause the paid period, according to the billing FAQ.
Refunds: the general policy has important exceptions
Seeking's terms generally make website purchases nonrefundable, but section 22 contains special US state provisions. Do not dismiss a possible claim solely because a short FAQ answer says all sales are final. Read sections 11, 12 and 22 of the terms.
Section 22 also addresses death or disability; section 12 describes a prorated refund for a site outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours. These are specific provisions, not a general unused-time refund promise.
Keep dated evidence of the purchase, cancellation and issue. If a deadline may apply, do not wait for a routine support reply before reading the required procedure. Turning off the next renewal and exercising a contract cancellation right are separate actions.
For Google Play purchases, use Google's refund process. Eligibility and the request route depend on the purchase and timing. A request does not guarantee approval.
What to do about a charge or missing access
I see W8Tech on my statement
Seeking identifies W8Tech as its website card-payment descriptor. Match the amount and date with your Seeking receipt before deciding what the charge represents.
The website's receipt link is in Settings under Membership and billing; the app uses Payment History. See the receipt and statement FAQ. If the payment remains unfamiliar, contact your payment provider as well.
I paid through Google Play, but my account was not upgraded
Seeking asks affected Android purchasers to send support the purchase date and Google Play order number. Use the official ticket form.
Keep the receipt and describe which access is missing. Avoid making a second payment merely to test whether the first one worked.
I canceled, but another payment appeared
Compare the date of the charge with the completed cancellation, the billing provider and the next renewal shown in your account. Check whether the payment is an upgrade or another purchase rather than assuming it is a renewal.
Ask the provider to identify the transaction and explain the account's current billing status. Include the order reference and cancellation evidence. A failed payment or blocked card is not a reliable substitute for completing cancellation.
Is Seeking worth the price for you?
A shorter term may fit when
You are still judging the local selection, your schedule may change, or you want to limit the first commitment. Decide what you want to learn during that period before paying.
A longer term may fit when
You already find the service useful, expect to use the entire period and can comfortably pay upfront. Compare the total with any actual renewal or legacy rate available to you.
Use free browsing to identify relevant people, then think about communication, privacy and time. If your searches produce few plausible matches, spending more on visibility may not solve the real problem. Improve your profile and expectations before treating an expensive tier as the answer.

Seeking cost FAQs
Is Platinum a $126.67 monthly subscription?
That figure is the rounded 30-day equivalent of the $380 longer plan. It does not describe the amount collected each month. Read the published total and the amount due on the final payment screen together.
What is the current Gold price?
The pricing announcement names Gold but does not list an amount for it. Check your account's eligibility, features, term and price instead of treating a Platinum quote as a Gold quote.
Is Diamond worth the extra cost?
Decide which extra feature you intend to use and whether it solves a real problem for you. More visibility or earlier access to profiles cannot guarantee responses, dates or compatibility.
Can I stop renewal and use my remaining paid time?
Seeking's billing FAQ says paid access continues until the next billing period after recurring billing is canceled. Save confirmation and check your exact end date.
Can I pause the membership while I am away?
Deactivating the account does not pause or extend the paid period. Plan around the dates you have purchased rather than expecting unused travel time to be added later.
Does no refunds mean there are no exceptions?
No. The terms contain specific exceptions, including special provisions for listed US states. Check the refund section above and your accepted terms promptly; some procedures are time-sensitive.
Should I cancel through Apple because I used Apple Pay?
Identify the biller from your receipt. A wallet payment on a website does not by itself create an App Store subscription. Use the controls for the provider that manages the purchase.
Will the comparison tool match my next bill?
Not necessarily. It models repeated purchases at the published rates, excluding tax, extras, promotions and older pricing. It rounds coverage up to full plan periods and does not predict a changed renewal offer.
