Academic Singles Premium should be compared using the complete offer in your US account. Its public FAQ does not provide one current dollar price that we can apply to every member. Before upgrading, check whether the available profiles fit your expectations and whether the full contract cost fits your budget.
What does Premium add?
The official Academic Singles FAQ directs members to Fees to choose a subscription. It lists full profiles, all profile photos, unlimited messages, video calls and a favorites list as Premium benefits. Free registration should not be understood as full access to those paid features.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can I compare a public US price here? | An exact universal amount was not verifiable in the public FAQ checked September 8, 2026. |
| Where do I see the offer? | In the account's Fees area, with its applicable term and conditions. |
| What matters beyond the rate? | Full term cost, first charge, installments, renewal and included communication. |
| Does uninstalling the app cancel billing? | No. Subscription cancellation is a separate action. |
Compare the contract, not just the headline
A monthly equivalent helps compare terms only when you also know the total. Multiply the advertised rate by the number of months in the commitment, then compare the result with the actual checkout total. Differences may reflect a discount, fees or a payment schedule that needs a closer look.
For example, a hypothetical $25 equivalent over six months is $150 for the period. It is not automatically a $25 subscription you can leave after one month. This example explains the calculation; it is not an Academic Singles quote.
Keep a copy of the offer and receipt. Include the account country, currency, purchase channel and date so you can later identify the exact agreement. Do not rely on a promotional email alone if the payment screen shows different terms.
When does the membership fit your needs?
Academic Singles may appeal if education and professional interests are useful starting points for choosing a partner. They are still starting points. A profile category does not establish compatible values, a verified qualification, emotional availability or an ability to make time for a relationship.
Read the profiles you can inspect before upgrading. Look for interests you can discuss, compatible location and a realistic dating schedule. If your work involves travel or irregular hours, a longer subscription can be poor value even when its monthly equivalent is lower. Plan for the time you will actually spend using it.
Our Academic Singles review covers the service beyond billing. The comparison with eharmony helps if you are deciding between professional positioning and a more explicitly compatibility-led approach.
Cancellation on the website or in an app store
Academic Singles says website subscribers should use the Cancel Membership form in the homepage footer. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases must be cancelled with the corresponding store. Its customer support cannot cancel store-managed subscriptions. Deleting the profile or application does not stop renewal.
Check the applicable notice deadline before you pay, then set a reminder ahead of it. Complete the cancellation process, save confirmation and check the resulting billing state. Turning off notifications or simply ceasing to log in is not a billing instruction.
Academic Singles cost questions
Are the prices on another country's review applicable in the USA?
Not necessarily. Compare the country, currency, date, term and channel before treating two prices as equivalent.
Is the cheapest monthly equivalent always the best option?
No. It can require a larger overall payment or commitment. Choose a term you would still be comfortable paying for if your plans change.
Should I buy Premium before seeing whether the service fits?
Use the available free preview first. It cannot answer every question, but it can help you avoid paying for an interface or profile selection that does not suit you.
