How to find an Academic Singles price you can rely on
- Check the account, country and currency.
Use the account you intend to keep. Confirm that the service supports your actual residence and that any dollar quote is USD. A Canadian or Australian dollar price is not a US price.
- Open the offer details before confirming payment.
In the Fees area, record the membership length, the complete first-term amount and the payment schedule. Read the conditions attached to the plan you select.

The FAQ says video calls require an earlier message exchange and the other member's agreement; read receipts are not offered. Before buying to pursue one particular person, consider how you would feel about the cost if they never replied. Access to communication tools cannot guarantee a conversation or a date.
Read these six details before choosing a term
- Full first-term amount: the complete minimum commitment, including any mandatory charges shown.
- Charge today: the amount you authorize immediately, which may differ from a displayed monthly equivalent.
- Later installments: each remaining amount and collection date, if payment is split.
- Term and access dates: how long the agreement runs and when the paid access ends.
- Renewal: the next term, price and charge date. Do not assume an introductory discount continues.
- Cancellation conditions: the required route, any notice deadline and how completion will be confirmed.
Save the offer, accepted terms and order confirmation together. If you cannot fill in the six items above, ask billing support before paying: “What is the full amount for this term, what is due today, and what must I do to prevent another term?”

Renewal: what to check before another charge
Locate the renewal date and any advance notice requirement in your own agreement. We could not establish one public notice period for every US purchase. Do not substitute a deadline quoted for a different market or a different plan.
Set a reminder ahead of the actual deadline, allowing time to recover a login or resolve a failed form. After requesting cancellation, keep the effective end date and confirmation. Do not rely on having stopped using the app.
How to cancel Academic Singles: follow your receipt
Identify the company that billed you from the order confirmation or receipt. An iPhone purchase is not necessarily an Apple subscription; a browser checkout and an app-store purchase can have different cancellation routes.
You paid on the Academic Singles website
The official FAQ points to the homepage footer's Cancel Membership form. Complete it for the account and country where you purchased.

Save the final screen or email, with the date and membership reference. Check the effective end date.
- If the route is missing or fails, contact support.
Use the official contact form, choosing Cancellation Request where available. Use the email registered to your account.
- Ask for a clear outcome.
Confirm whether renewal is stopped, when access ends and whether anything remains payable. Keep an automatic receipt, but follow up if it only confirms that your message arrived.

Apple billed your subscription
On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select the subscription and choose Cancel Subscription. Check the resulting status. If it is missing, find the Apple Account on the receipt and sign into that account. Apple's cancellation instructions.
Google Play billed your subscription
Use the Google Account that made the purchase. Open Google Play subscriptions, choose Manage for the subscription, then Cancel subscription and finish the prompts. Check confirmation and remaining payment obligations. Google's cancellation instructions.
Do not use profile deletion as a cancellation method. Academic Singles says deleting the profile or uninstalling the app does not cancel billing. Store-managed subscriptions must be canceled through the store.
Already paid? Resolve the specific problem
I paid, but Premium is not active
The billing FAQ identifies incorrect account or country details, duplicate profiles and technical issues as possible causes. Check the receipt against your login before paying again.
Send support the transaction reference, payment date and a description of the missing access. Ask it to locate the existing purchase. Avoid buying a second membership just to see whether the first one worked.
I canceled, but another charge appeared
Compare the charge date, cancellation confirmation and effective end date. Ask the billing provider whether this is a new renewal, a remaining installment or another account's purchase. Include evidence of the cancellation and ask for the specific explanation in writing.
If you only sent a message, check whether you received a completed cancellation result. For store purchases, inspect the store's subscription status and ask that store for help if it is unclear.
I cannot find the subscription or receipt
Search the email addresses you use for purchases, including spam. Match the charge amount and date against your statement and purchase history. Apple advises checking the receipt for the account and, if Apple did not bill you, identifying the billing company from your statement. Apple's missing-subscription guidance.
Use the identified provider's official support route. Do not guess the account by creating new profiles or repeating the purchase.
For a website account, the Academic Singles contact form has membership, billing and cancellation categories. These checks help identify the issue; they do not establish why your individual payment occurred.
Can you get a refund for unused membership?
Do not choose a longer plan on the assumption that unused months will be refunded. We could not verify a single public refund rule applicable to every US Academic Singles transaction. The accepted terms, purchase channel and circumstances matter.
